Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: Oct 21, 2026

1. Scope

These terms of sale and use govern the sale and use of the conversion audits provided by OrderLeak SAS ("OrderLeak", "we") to anyone placing an order ("the Customer", "you"). Placing an order means accepting them in full.

The Service is aimed primarily at e-commerce professionals. It is also available to consumers within the meaning of the French Consumer Code. Clauses expressly marked as applying to consumers apply only to them and, where they do, override any conflicting provision below.

The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order. Any change is published on this page with a new update date and applies only to later orders.

2. What the Service does

OrderLeak produces a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) report on pages of an online store. There are two modes:

  • URL mode: you give us the addresses of the pages to audit. We fetch each page's served HTML from our servers, have a capture provider take full-page desktop and mobile screenshots, measure objective facts about the markup (headings, button labels, trust signals, accessibility, page weight, third-party scripts) and, where the data exists, query Google's Chrome UX Report for the loading performance real visitors experience. The screenshots and those measured facts are then submitted to an artificial intelligence model, which produces the findings.
  • Upload mode (account holders only): you supply the screenshots yourself. No live-page measurement is possible, so the report carries neither measured facts nor field performance data.

The report contains an overall score out of 100, per-category scores, a list of findings — each with the evidence supporting it, a confidence level and an estimated impact — an executive summary, a three-phase action plan, an impact/effort placement and a sector benchmark snapshot. It is available online and downloadable as a PDF.

Euro amounts appear only if you have given us your own figures (monthly traffic, conversion rate, average order value). Otherwise impact is expressed as percentages only. Those amounts are orders of magnitude computed from your figures, not revenue forecasts.

The report is produced by an automated system that includes a language model. It may contain errors, omissions or debatable judgements. It describes the state of the pages at the moment of capture. A report's language is fixed when it is generated and does not change afterwards.

If a provider the analysis pipeline depends on is unavailable, the audit is refused before anything is charged: we never degrade the analysis and never produce a report from simulated data.

3. Credits

The Service runs on credits. One credit covers one report on up to 4 pages of the same site, each page analysed in both a desktop and a mobile version.

Beyond 4 pages, one further credit is due per started bracket of 4 pages: 1 to 4 pages, 1 credit; 5 to 8 pages, 2 credits; and so on. The credit cost is shown before the analysis is launched.

All pages in one audit must belong to the same domain name. An audit launched from the customer area may cover at most 10 pages. A purchase made without an account covers one credit and up to 4 pages of the same site.

Credits are bought individually or in degressive packs. They do not expire, are tied to the account they were bought for, and are neither transferable nor convertible into cash, subject to clause 6.

A new audit of the same site, launched from the same account or ordered with the same email address within three months of the delivery of an audit paid at full price, is discounted by 60%: 0.4 credit per bracket of pages from the customer area, or 60% off the price of a purchase made without an account. The discount applies once per full-price audit; a discounted audit does not open a further discount. The discounted cost is shown before the analysis is launched or paid for.

4. When a credit is spent and when it comes back

A credit is debited when the analysis is launched, after we have checked that the analysis pipeline is operational. An insufficient balance prevents the launch.

The credit is restored automatically and in full in two cases:

  • no page analysis succeeded — the audit is marked as failed and the credit is returned to your balance;
  • the analysis pipeline stops on a technical error while running.

The credit is not restored automatically where the audit completes partially, that is where at least one page or one device was analysed. The report then states explicitly what could not be analysed and why. If what was delivered plainly does not match what was ordered, write to us: we review each case and either re-run the audit or refund it.

Restoration is made in credits added to the account balance, not in money. A monetary refund is governed by clause 6.

5. Orders, prices and payment

The applicable prices are those shown on the Pricing page at the time of the order, in euros. The applicable VAT treatment is shown at payment.

Payment is made online through our payment provider Stripe, on a page hosted by them. We never have access to your card details and do not store them. The order becomes firm once the provider confirms payment.

Purchase without an account: you give the pages to audit, your email address and, if you wish, your trading figures, then you pay. The analysis starts automatically as soon as payment is confirmed, with no further action from you. A passwordless account is created for the email address you gave, so the report, the credits and any later purchase attach to it; you can claim it at any time by setting a password.

Purchase from an account: credits are added to your balance once payment is confirmed, and you decide when to launch each analysis.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

This clause concerns only Customers who are consumers. Under article L221-3 of the French Consumer Code it also benefits a professional who employs no more than five people and whose order falls outside the field of their main activity. Auditing an online store on behalf of the person operating it falls within their main activity: e-commerce professionals therefore have no right of withdrawal.

A consumer has, in principle, fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give a reason.

Unconsumed credits — the right applies in full. If no credit from the order has been consumed, you may withdraw within fourteen days and obtain a full refund of the order, by the same means of payment, within fourteen days of your request. The corresponding credits are then removed from your balance. A refund covers a whole order: an order from which at least one credit has been consumed cannot be partially refunded automatically.

Analysis started immediately — loss of the right. An audit is digital content supplied without a tangible medium whose performance begins immediately. Under article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal can only be set aside if, before paying, you expressly requested immediate performance and expressly acknowledged that you would thereby lose your right of withdrawal. That request and that acknowledgement are collected at checkout on the no-account purchase path, where the analysis starts as soon as payment clears, and confirmation of them is sent to you by email.

If those two express consents were not collected, you keep your right of withdrawal for fourteen days and we refund you in full, including where a report has already been produced.

To withdraw, send us an unambiguous statement at support@orderleak.com quoting your order reference. You may also use the model withdrawal form set out in the annex to article R221-1 of the French Consumer Code.

7. Invoicing

Your order history and every movement of your credit balance are available in your customer area, under Billing.

An invoice carrying the legally required particulars is drawn up for every order and sent to you by email on request to support@orderleak.com. For a purchase made without an account, quote the email address used at checkout.

8. Access to your report, retention and sharing

Account holders: the report stays available in your customer area with no time limit, for as long as your account exists.

Purchase without an account: the finished report is emailed to you with the PDF attached, together with a personal link that reopens it without signing in. That link does not expire; the PDF you receive is your durable copy and we encourage you to keep it.

Sharing: from a report you can create a public share link. You choose how long it stays valid, capped at 30 days, and you can revoke it at any time. The number of views and the date of the last view are recorded. A share link gives read-only access to that one report and reveals neither your identity nor your other reports.

We do not provide unlimited archiving. The text of the report — score, findings, evidence, action plan — stays available for as long as your account exists, but the screenshots that accompany it are erased 730 days after the audit; the report remains readable and checkable without them, since every finding carries its own written evidence. The other retention periods are set out in the privacy policy. Deleting your account destroys your reports immediately and permanently.

9. Your obligations and acceptable use

An audit causes our servers, and those of our capture provider, to connect to the pages you name, load them and photograph them. Those requests are made on your instruction and on your behalf. You therefore warrant:

  • that you operate the site concerned, or that you are duly authorised by its operator to have its pages audited;
  • that submitting those addresses breaches neither the target site's terms of use nor any third-party right;
  • that the screenshots you upload infringe no intellectual property right and no duty of confidentiality;
  • that the pages submitted contain no personal data of third parties — do not audit pages behind a login, order confirmation pages, customer account pages or a populated basket.

You undertake not to circumvent the Service's technical limits, not to resell or re-expose it under another brand, and to respect the rate limits applied to the public forms.

We refuse non-public addresses (loopback addresses, private networks, cloud metadata endpoints) and domains that do not resolve. That check is run before any payment and before any credit is spent.

You indemnify OrderLeak against any third-party claim arising from a breach of these undertakings.

10. Intellectual property and use of your content

The report produced is yours. You may use it, adapt it and pass it on without restriction, including to your own clients as part of an agency engagement.

You grant us, for no longer than performance of the contract requires, a non-exclusive licence over the addresses, page code and screenshots you submit, strictly limited to producing the report, making it available, emailing it and storing it for your own access.

We do not use your pages, your screenshots or your reports to train artificial intelligence models, and our analysis provider is contractually bound not to use content submitted through its programming interface for that purpose.

The Service, its methodology, its scoring rubrics and its benchmark corpus remain our exclusive property.

11. Warranties and liability

We owe a duty of care and skill, not a duty to achieve a result. The report is a decision-support tool: we guarantee no commercial outcome, no improvement in conversion rate and no revenue gain. Impact ranges and euro amounts are estimates computed from your own figures, never commitments.

You remain solely responsible for the changes you make to your pages and for their compliance with the rules applicable to your business.

Consumers: you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content under articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, independently of any commercial warranty. This clause does not restrict that guarantee.

Save where mandatory law provides otherwise, our total liability on any ground is limited to the sums you actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the triggering event. We are not liable for indirect loss, in particular lost revenue, lost customers or reputational harm.

No limitation applies in the event of personal injury, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or wherever the law forbids it.

12. Availability, suspension and termination

The Service is provided with no service-level commitment. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of a third-party provider. When the analysis pipeline is not operational, no order is accepted and no credit is spent.

We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, in particular auditing pages you are not authorised to have audited. We will tell you, and — absent fault on your part — refund unconsumed credits.

You may delete your account at any time from your settings, after two confirmations. Deletion is irreversible: it erases your account, your audits, your reports, the screenshots that go with them, your credits and your share links. Orders already paid are kept in anonymised form under our accounting obligations, as the privacy policy explains. Unconsumed credits are lost, unless you asked for a refund beforehand. You can download all of your data from your settings before deleting your account.

13. Personal data

How we process your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

If performing the Service would lead us to process, on your behalf, personal data for which you are the controller, a data processing agreement compliant with article 28 GDPR is available on request at support@orderleak.com.

14. Complaints, mediation and disputes

Any complaint must first be sent to us at support@orderleak.com. We acknowledge it within forty-eight working hours and answer on the substance as promptly as we can.

Consumers: in the event of a dispute, first send us a written complaint at support@orderleak.com, describing the order concerned and what you are asking for.

These terms are governed by French law.

For professional Customers, any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the place of OrderLeak's registered office, including where there are several defendants or a third-party claim. For consumers, the statutory rules of jurisdiction apply: you may bring proceedings before the court of the place where you lived when the contract was concluded or where the harmful event occurred.
